Incredible food. The Colorado burrito was amazing. The music adds to the ambiance. Love getting to sit outside by the lake.

Awesome food, drink and atmosphere. The bean dip is fantastic, cannot believe other places don't do this? Don Julio anejo margarita is the BOMB! I get the Chicken fajitas with the "brown" salsa . . . Excellent! The wait staff are super friendly. Go you will not be disappointed.

Look no further. The best margarita you will ever find, period. The food is perfectly executed and the staff treats you like family. So nice to have Carmelitas in Rancho!

WOW, is all we can say! Their prices are so reasonable, especially when you see that they're serving Kurobuta pork and Jidori organic chicken. But the flavors! Chef José Colin has some serious chops when it comes to comida. We sampled the chile verde and the tacos hongos after a large portion of their seasonal guacamole, made to order and perfectly seasoned.
Everything seemed to be made to order, except, of course, that slow-cooked chile verde. Big chunks of pork came out swimming in a generous serving of green sauce, served with a large portion of rice on the side. Melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The tacos hongos were served almost like fajitas--a personal-sized cast-iron plate came out with slices of beef and mushroom on top of melted cheese, served with tortillas and a bowl of house-made salsa.

Hands-down the best sit-down Mexican restaurant in Laguna Beach - may be the best in all of OC! The Margaritas are off the hook, and waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Food quality and recipes are second to none - the Lobster Stuffed chile rellano is fantastic.

I eat a _lot_ of Mexican food. There are plenty of Mexican places to choose from in Orange County. But, when I want to sit down and have a nice meal, this is the place. The prices, for Laguna Beach, are great. Based on my past nice Laguna Mexican restaurant experiences, I was expecting at least twice as much. The steak fajitas are the most tender meat I think I've ever had. So happy to finally have a reasonable place to take the family for a night out in Laguna.
